About the XAT Paper
A typical XAT paper can be divided into three categories: concept-driven, practice intensive and environment-sensitive. Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and some questions of Verbal & Logical Ability are concept-driven. Decision Making & Analytical Reasoning are more practice intensive and General Knowledge is environment-sensitive. This exam is unique in its structure because it has a section on Decision Making. This is an area that checks your management aptitude by presenting different situations and cases and asks you to identify the correct recourse in these situations. This area checks your management ability by presenting you with various business and ethical questions. They come in the form of situations or case-lets.
