New Era and the university is true to its name through Trade Tower - an incubation centre on campus.
29 Start-Ups are being incubated at Woxsen’s Trade Tower currently. The incubator is open for all students on campus helping them through different stages of business development, from idea generation to funding to incorporation.
In the recently held, MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0 by the Ministry of MSME, one student from the School of Business received a 15 lakh grant.

2) Scholarships -
The university is committed to supporting students with academic & extracurricular excellence. Woxsen offers 3 Types of Scholarships: Merit-Based Scholarships, Sports Scholarships and Socio-Economic Scholarships. In the academic year 2023,
Woxsen University has awarded scholarships worth INR 40 crores across different programs.
3) Placements -
India’s BFSI, Services sector is poised for unprecedented growth and that is reflected in the upswing in their hiring numbers.
In FY22, the BFSI sector’s share of Indian GDP increased to about 12%. Source: Economic Times.
This was seen playing at Woxsen University as well,
with these 2 sectors being major recruiters offering the highest packages.
Arcesium with the highest package of 19 Lakhs & Morgan Stanley with the highest package of 17 Lakhs have been the top recruiters in the last 2 years.
Similarly,
the analytics industry in India is poised to create over 11 million jobs by 2026. This has been directly reflected in the composition of placements for the last 2 years, where Business Analytics was the 2nd biggest function where students got recruited after Business Development.
Recruiters like
KPMG, Deloitte, UBS Group, ABG, Standard Chartered, Hafele, Factset, ICICI Bank, ANZ, and GEP have hired consistently for 2-3 years.
What’s more, Woxsen’s ongoing final placements for its batch of 2024 also appear to be as promising as previous years, with:
● The highest package touching 19 lakhs
● Average package at 9.07 lakhs
● Median package at 8.80 lakhs
● 95 companies (so far) participating in the recruitment process

4) Student Participation In Academic Research -
Every year, MBA students form groups of three members as authors and write articles in various areas of management such as
finance, marketing, HR&OB. These
articles are published as conference proceedings, book chapters, and journal articles
by renowned publishers such as Taylor and Francis. In the academic year
2022-23, approximately 69 articles were published, and in the academic year
2021-22, around 48 articles were published.
5) Curriculum -
Woxsen offers ‘
Top 3 curriculum “must-haves” for candidates who prefer full-time MBA’ as highlighted in GMAC Survey 2023:
Strategy, Leadership/ Change Management, Business Analytics/ Data Science. The university endeavors to offer a curriculum that fills skill gaps in today’s business world.
Each school at the university has a Board of Studies which includes Academicians and Industry experts that review and update the curriculum on a timely basis. Since they are industry veterans, they give inputs which are in line with industry demands.

Woxsen University is the only private university in Telangana to be ranked by QS. Here are the rankings:

In this category, Woxsen University is sharing the 151+ cluster with IIMs like IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, IIM Udaipur, and IIM Rohtak. At the same time, it is ranked 27th in Asia and 17th in India.
