After graduating as a Metallurgical and Materials Engineer from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Sweekriti developed an interest in the various metal-making processes, copper being one of them. Her engineering curriculum had been able to spark her curiosity by exposing her to various metal manufacturing processes.
With the intention of exploring them further, she applied to the Engineering Leadership Program of the Aditya Birla Group.
Aditya Birla Group’s Engineering Leadership Program offered her the opportunity to explore a career of her interest. After qualifying all the three rounds of ELP, i.e. Psychometric Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview, Sweekriti was offered a role with ABG.
Since, Sweekriti assumed her role at Birla Copper, she has only gone onwards and upwards from there. From learning hard skills to soft skills she has been able to develop herself as a complete professional.
Sweekriti is leading by example and is championing the cause for all women who want to pursue a career of their choice, especially it goes against the society’s preconceived notions.
