Utilising the various models she learned in SIMSR, she analysed the data collected and accordingly gave recommendations for how they could improve the sales of these products.
Santanu Mitra, an engineer and a fresher, had the privilege of doing his summer internship with JP Morgan Chase. Being a fresher, he had a steep learning curve. Having access to leading business journals in SIMSR kept him up to date regarding the industry. Being part of various committees, as well as having supportive seniors helped him tackle his internship with ease.
Varuna Hajela, a PG Marketing student, speaks of how she was always focused in wanting to do consultancy. Her seniors gave her invaluable advice that helped her crack her interview. Her internship with GEP helped her understand the industry better. She is looking forward to further exploring a career in consultancy.
Shrenik Karia, an MMS student, was certain about pursuing a career in operations. He joined a committee called “Forum of Operations and Supply Chain Enthusiasts”. He bagged a summer internship with the prestigious Piramal Glass. He gained incomparable experience that is helping him prepare for a leadership role in the future.
Stuti Bhatt, a dentist, decided to change her career path. One of the first questions she was asked during her summer placement interview was ‘Why?’. Having justified her switch sufficiently, she managed to get a summer internship with Colgate. Having worked as a dentist in the past, Colgate was the perfect company for her to intern for.
