What makes IIM Trichy unique?

This is about an institute that started its journey in 2011 by sharing a campus with National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. It is about the fastest growing second-generation IIM and an institute that has worked its way up the ladder by putting behind several other B-schools of India. The institute has left no stone unturned to understand the needs of the students and have built a state-of-the-art campus for their convenience. With the help of the same wisdom, the current students recently managed to bag the opportunity to host Ministry of Human Resources’ first-ever event, by winning the ‘Ek Bharath Shresth Bharat’ event. We have achieved more victories like Research challenge by CFA institute National rounds, Global business challenge by CIMA, GSCMI (Purdue University) and more.

Tiruchirappalli as a city also contributes to our development. The city and its surrounding has offered India and the world, some of most famous personalities, like C. V. Raman (a Nobel laureate in Physics and recipient of the Bharat Ratna), Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (past President of India), Nirmala Sitharaman (incumbent Ministry of State - for Commerce, industry and finance) and more. Such a rich heritage setting is bound to offer the students a holistic learning experience.

If given an option to choose one of the Aditya Birla group companies to go for, I will select the Aditya Birla Retail Limited. I believe that the market share of Aditya Birla Group in the FMCG industry of India is lower than what it can potentially have, so while Aditya Birla Retail group works towards grabbing a bigger bite out of the $60 billion market, I will love to make a contribution with my skills and ensure that we reach our targets. I want to be a part of the success story of Aditya Birla Retail Limited.
