Student Exchange Programs provide B-School students a rewarding experience that helps them build skills that usually they miss out in their day to day academics. When they are in an environment they are used to and where other students coming from fairly similar backgrounds the learning sometimes get limited. In such programs, the students main motive is to gain academic knowledge and insights. Interacting with students from different countries and continents helps the exchange students inculcate a sense of camaraderie In This video 4 PGDM students from IMT, Ghaziabad shares their experiences of their semester in different colleges and universities in France, and how it chased them for the better.
Athira S. Nair, Nikhil V. Dixit, Shriya Verma, and Pradyoth Kalavagunta are PGDM Marketing students for IMT, Ghaziabad who were part of the exchange program at IMT, Ghaziabad in 2019. Each of them was selected by 4 different colleges and universities across France. These students give an overview of what preparations have to be done before leaving India and also what obstacles might come their way during their time abroad in terms of finances, communication gap, cultural differences. The students got to travel around the continent at their own expense once they had completed their respective courses.
