Asia has rapidly become one of the top locations for students to pursue an MBA. The continent is home to some of the world’s leading business schools that offer world-class learning experiences. Within Asia, Hong Kong SAR has consistently been amongst the top destinations for international students, given that it is a major business hub. But is it actually worth doing your MBA in Hong Kong? What are the perks of living in the region? Let’s find out. Register for the webinar and find out How These Indians Made It Big With A CUHK MBA, Ft. Abhishek V (Visa), Monish S (Big 4) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Why do your MBA in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) consistently features amongst the top cities for students looking to study abroad. In fact, in 2023, students have put Hong Kong SAR ahead of Singapore, New York, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and other major cities as their study-abroad destination of choice. Here’s what makes Hong Kong a highly attractive destination for work and learning.
Connect with top-tier companies in booming industries
Hong Kong is amongst the world’s global economic hubs and is home to many multinational companies in flourishing industries like banking and finance, technology, advertising and others. It’s the perfect location to connect with leading companies for MBA internships and full-time opportunities. Hong Kong is also particularly attractive for entrepreneurs, getting a score of 85 on 100 in ease of doing business, ahead of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, India, and most European countries. Setting up a company is relatively easy and cost-effective in Hong Kong, and the overall corporate environment encourages businesses to thrive.
Work in a flourishing cosmopolitan economy
Hong Kong has an incredibly diverse population, with a mix of cultures and ethnicities originating from all over the world. This means that English is commonly spoken in corporate Hong Kong, and is also the mode of education at business schools. Hong Kong’s Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) visa enables MBA students to remain in Hong Kong for up to a year without a job offer after graduating. This gives you ample time to find the perfect employment opportunity, secure a work permit, and experience the cosmopolitan culture of the region.
