Plato had said that the most important part of the work is its beginning. And that is exactly what Shailesh J. Mehta School of management offers, a tectonic start to expand as a pupil, a scholar and a business expert.
The best moment for any aspiring engineer is to be able to enter the walls of the sanctum that is IIT Bombay and be enthralled by the rich history, the vast expanse of the campus that houses some of the best minds in the country. So naturally, when I got the opportunity to pursue a masters of management course here I was thrilled.
SJMSOM is a unique culture in itself, combining the rigors of an MBA study and the opportunities of college environment during under graduation. My first year here has been full of new experiences, new challenges and opportunities. The most unique thing was that we had the opportunity to study with IIT students and interact with world class alumni and academic intelligentsia.
IIT’s world class infrastructure and SJMSOM’s exposure to superior faculty, premium alumni network and stimulating learning experience opens up a plethora of post PGP opportunities for a successful career.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
The ABG Company I would like to work for is Idea. I am an Electronics and Communication Engineer and so I believe that my engineering background and my MBA education will propel me to work at Idea. Also, Idea is one of the leading mobile network operators in India and it has a hugely successful marketing campaign for which I would like to work. Idea has been connecting people for so many years now and it is definitely a company that I aspire to be in as I resonate with its values.
