IIM Raipur, our campus has the best of both worlds, rigour and fun. Being a new campus gives the opportunity to ideate, innovate and evolve. We are not bounded by traditions or weights and expectations of the past. We are not shackled by “this is how it is done in the last xx years” attitude. We are in a world of possibilities. The challenges of a new campus bring out the best in all and create an ecosystem of fierce competition along with intense friendship. As we face new challenges, we stay united and tackle it headlong, like future managers should. In scarcity, we learn to celebrate the mundane. We cherish every second of every minute of every hour of every day on this campus. Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
Idea Cellular is the ABG company that I would love to be a part of. Telecommunication industry has been the largest transforming force of this century and Idea has stood up and against the disruptive Jio storm. This very fact underlies the strong fundamentals of the company. Additionally, Idea is one of the top three mobile operators in India, with an annual revenue in excess of USD 5 billion and a revenue market share of 19 per cent. With nearly 200 million subscribers, Idea ranks sixth in the global rankings of operators in subscriber terms, for single country operations. The Idea-Vodaphone merger will result in the formation of the largest entity in telecom space and it can tap into the entire Indian geography. This will open up a world of
possibilities. Working with Idea would give a chance to be at the forefront of transformational technology and an exciting future.
