How prepared are you for the Decision Making section of XAT? Is your GK at par with what may be asked in the exam? One of the most important things that you as a XAT test-taker can do is to practice as many questions as possible to master what are considered to be tricky sections in XAT - the DM and GK sections. To help you prepare, we will send you the InsideIIM DM & GK Practice Test series on every Tuesday and Friday of the week - a 20 minute test to help you master these two dreaded sections of the exam. Take your first practice test now!
Instructions For The Test
This is an untimed test, however, we recommend that you set yourself a timer of 20 minutes in order to test yourself under pressure. The test is split into two parts - Section 1 (Decision Making), and Section 2 (General Knowledge). The Decision Making section has 5 questions, while the General Knowledge section has 20 questions.
While attempting the General Knowledge section, to accurately test your abilities, please refrain from using any external resources to identify correct answers to questions. All the best!
After you have completed the test, you can use
this thread to discuss questions with other test-takers.

What Your Scores Mean
Within the Decision Making section, a score greater than 8 can be considered a good score, while any score below 8 indicates that you need to get back to the drawing board and practice more questions. We recommend that you practice XAT DM questions from previous years' papers, which can be found on the XLRI website. Additionally, if you've scored below 8, please use
this guide to ace the DM section in XAT.
Within the General Knowledge & Current Affairs section, a score greater than 15 can be considered a good score, while any score below 10 indicates that you need to hit the GK books and familiarize yourself further with Current Affairs of 2019 and 2018. These are the
best free resources that you can use to improve your Current Affairs and General Knowledge. Also check out this
article on what to expect in the GK section of XAT 2020.
The next test will be available on 17th December, 2019.
Brush up your GK - this is going to be a tough one!
