The XAT 2022 exam notification has been released. The XAT 2022 exam will be conducted on Sunday, 2nd January 2022, and the exam duration will be three hours. XAT 2022 Exam Notification - Important Dates To Remember
- XAT Registration Fee (without late fee) – Rs. 1800.
- Candidates interested in XLRI programs need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300 each.
- Indian candidates can apply through GMAT/GRE for Ex-PGDM whereas an NRI/Foreign national can apply through GMAT for all the programs. GRE scores are only valid for EX-PGDM.
- Fee for Indian Candidates applying for Ex-PGDM through GMAT/GRE– Rs. 2500.
- Fee for NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programs through GMAT– Rs. 5000.

- What is the duration of the XAT 2022 exam?
The duration of the XAT 2022 exam will be three hours. The exam will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Sunday, 2nd January 2022. The XAT 2022 exam results will be released three weeks after the XAT exam is conducted.
- Will there be any sectional time limits?
There will only be overall time limits and no sectional time limits. In XAT 2021, a total of 165 minutes were allotted to attempt three sections - Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, and Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation. An additional 15 minutes were allotted for the General Awareness section.
- Will candidates get access to an onscreen calculator?
No on-screen calculators will be provided.
- Will XAT 2022 have negative marking for incorrect answers?
Yes. In XAT 2021, there was a negative marking of -0.25 marks for Part-I. There was a penalty of -0.1 marks for every unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions. This scoring pattern is likely to be repeated for XAT 2022.
- Can candidates choose any section to begin with? Can candidates switch between sections?
Yes, candidates can choose any section to begin with. Candidates can also switch between sections freely.
- What is the eligibility criteria for taking the XAT 2022 exam?
Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline. Those completing their final examination by June 10, 2022 may also apply. All Indian candidates must appear for XAT 2022. However, NRI and Foreign candidates may apply through GMAT score.
- Is internship/articleship/professional experience before graduation counted as work experience?
No.
- How do I apply for the BM program at XLRI Delhi campus?
A candidate can apply to XLRI Delhi BM Programme by clicking on BM programme and giving the preference as Delhi. There is no extra fee charged .
