This final placement season was phenomenal for XIMB, with a 122% increase in the highest domestic salary and a significant jump in average and median salaries. In 2023, XIMB saw the highest domestic salary touch a massive 71.51 lakhs, which is an astonishing 122% increase over last year.The median of the top 25% of salaries stood at 23.82 lakhs, increasing by 16% over the previous year. The median of the top 50% of salaries stood at 22.69 lakhs, up by an impressive 26%.Consulting, Operations and Systems emerged as the top-three domains on campus, in terms of average salary. Average salaries across domains have seen a double-digit increase over the past year.
XIMB Placements 2023: Key recruitment figures
XIMB witnessed a record number of pre-placement offers (111) extended to its MBA batch of 2023.
Xuberance ‘23 saw participation from 71 companies, including 26 new recruiters.
Top returning recruiters on campus included PwC, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Coca-Cola, L’Oreal, Nestle, Tata Steel, Amazon, Adani, UltraTech Cement, Microsoft, and Accenture amongst others.
Some of the prominent new recruiters included McKinsey, Bain, Reliance Jio, KPMG, Asian Paints, Maersk, Mahindra Logistics, and Wells Fargo amongst others.
Consulting was, once again, the most sought-after domain on campus, followed by Finance, and Marketing.
BFSI, IT, and Consulting were the top-three sectors on campus in 2023.
The top profiles offered included product management, strategy consulting, management consulting, risk advisory, corporate investment banking, portfolio management, digital banking and transformation, brand management, area sales management, and vendor management.
12 XIMB students received placement offers via Titan’s Elevate, and Tata Steel’s Steel-a-thon—two popular case study competitions.
