IIMU – The Beast

Since its inception in 2011, IIMU under the leadership of our director, Professor Janat Shah, has experienced phenomenal growth which is validated by its recognition as the 5^th best management institute in the country as per the NIRF Rankings 2016, done by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. With an extensive focus on research and academics, IIMU in a very short duration has been doing great in terms of research publications in top journals recognised globally. Recently, the renowned UT Dallas ranked IIMU 3rd in the country based on the quantity and quality of researches published by the institute after ISB and IIM Bangalore.

With a mission of creating responsible leaders by providing values-based and application-oriented management, IIMU aspires to become a management institute of global standards. Everyone who is a part of this community including the director, faculties, students, alumni and other associations are a stakeholder to this mission and work collectively for the institute. Everyone contributes to the growth of the institute. It is this camaraderie in the community and willingness to raise the bar which I see as the building blocks of growth.

IIM Udaipur has seen a remarkable growth since the beginning. And I along with everyone who is associated with the institute believes in the path that we have chosen for us as an institute. We are all set to unleash this beast out into the world.

In the Aditya Birla Group, I would like to work any of the following subsidiaries – UltraTech Cement, Idea Cellular, Pantaloons Fashion & Retail Industries and Hindalco Industries. I would like to work in marketing, general management and business development roles in any of the above company. I wish to become a business leader and Aditya Birla Group, well known for its diversity, thoughts and vast experiences, would provide me the required opportunities and guidance to attain my goal. Also, I find the values of Aditya Birla Group aligning with my core values and I wish to pursue for life such as: integrity, commitment, passion, seamlessness and speed.
