During my graduation, I developed good interest in finance as my degree was inclusive of subjects like Financial Management, Portfolio management, International Banking and Financial System to name a few. Also, I developed interest in the field while pursuing a certification course under Bombay Stock Exchange in which I successfully cleared the assessment for the role of an equity dealer. I want to gain holistic business knowledge, which will help me develop more skills in order to become a valuable asset for my organization. Also, having a good understanding of econometrics will help me apply statistical methods to available financial data. Henceforth, PGP programme from IIM Visakhapatnam mentored by the renowned IIM Bangalore, consisting of diverse set of highly qualified faculties will give me a clear understanding and application of the same.
I believe that learning is an iterative process and one can learn immensely from their experiences and the people around them. With a passion for learning and improving my potential, I look forward to the PGP programme at IIM Visakhapatnam as it will allow me to learn from the best faculty and compete with the most talented minds, bringing me a step closer to achieve my dreams.
