Students from top B-schools across India and Asia participated in the competition, which was held at the Indian School of Business (ISB), campus at Hyderabad. The first phase of the competition attracted participation from over 20 B-schools from India and Asia. The first round involved students to define the problem as they understood it and draft an executive summary. The teams from CEIBS (China Europe International Business School), Nanyang Business School, IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-I, XIMB, FMS Delhi and ISB were the finalists who were shortlisted to compete in the grand finale at ISB. The subsequent round at ISB required a thorough analysis on building an implementable strategy to improve operational efficiency in procurement and tested the teams on the strength of their analysis and relevance of recommendations.
In addition to offering participants a chance to analyze complex real life business problems and come up with innovative solutions, ‘Consilium’ also provided an exclusive platform for students to compete and network with best brains from top International and Indian B-schools.
