Tell us about a time when you messed up, and what you learnt from the experience?
During my undergraduate final year, I was working on two projects simultaneously. So here, I was to prepare reports and present them on two dates. Let us consider them to be day1 and day2. By mistake, I swapped them. I was fully prepared on day1 for the day2 presentation awaiting everyone at the place where no one seemed to report. Quite obviously, it was not the day for that coursework. After quite some time, I enquired and came to know about what I did. Since then, for each and every minutest of the things, I maintain a calendar. I have learnt to be extra cautious in whatever I do.
Tell us something about yourself that others may be surprised to know about you.
I am 27 and married! After which, I have to come to pursue an MBA full time.
What have been your two biggest successes in life? What did you learn from them?
The first biggest success, I consider is to work towards the development of poor downtrodden tribal children. Teaching them, providing them with textbooks, and finally being able to make a positive impact on their lives made me exceptionally happy. Lessons learnt: It is not always necessary to achieve great milestones to make a positive impact in the world, sometimes very little things if done passionately makes a huge impact and gives immense satisfaction. The second one which I would like to quote is that I am the gold medalist of my department (Biotechnology), NIT Durgapur and that I have published two research papers. Lessons learnt: Perseverence can help one achieve anything. Whatever you do, do it 100% and do not hope for the results. Process is the one which should be followed, results will follow.
Professionally, what is your ideal image of yourself five years from now? Where do you see yourself?
I wanted to do an MBA to get a boost in my career trajectory. After college, I joined Infosys Limited as a Systems Engineer, and most of the learning happened through hands-on experience. While it is the best form of learning, the learning I had was only exposed to software development and testing. However, only the knowledge of these would not suffice to take up new roles. Doing an MBA gives a 360-degree view of the business. This is pivotal to comprehend business scenarios and formulate decisions while taking up next-level assignments. A formal MBA education will fill in such gaps to enable me to attain the desired position in my career.
What is the one skill or characteristic you possess that you are most proud of, and why?
I am most proud that whenever I do something, I try to put my everything into it and extract the best of it. This one characteristic helps me get hold of the work, gain deeper insights, and ultimately come out with a vast plethora of knowledge.

Tell us about an ethical dilemma that you may have faced, and how you resolved it.
Earlier, I worked as a web developer, and I had to work on both the front-end and back-end of a website. For this purpose, I had to use various languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. I have to merge all of those to create a great user interactive experience. Moreover, I had to keep a check for bugs on the back-end so that users can access every feature with ease, all while navigating through a well-designed site with great interaction. During one of the development phases, despite all the work being done by another team-mate and me, our senior took all the credit of doing the same in front of our manager. I was quite perplexed then, especially because this was unexpected. However, my team-mate and I waited for him to end and informed our manager about it after some time. We clarified the entire situation, sat, and discussed how we were denied credits for the work we had done alone. It got sorted out after this.
If you were the CEO of any company of your choosing, which company would you choose and what would your first action be as CEO?
If given a chance, I would like to be the CEO of Bharat Biotech. The first action I would like to take is to study why are the raw materials not sufficiently available to make more vaccine doses. Moreover, I would fasten up clinical trials so that people widely accept them.
