It is with great pride that IIM Trichy announces the successful completion of the Summer Placement process for the Class of 2019 of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management. Since its inception, IIM Trichy has become a preferred destination for recruiters across industries owing to it's diverse educational and work experience background.
The campus saw regular recruiters like Dabur, L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, Microsoft, Saint Gobain, Yes Bank and participation from new recruiters like Avalon Consulting, Avendus, DHL, Godrej, RBL Bank, Shopclues offering coveted profiles across various domains.
A total of 95 companies participated in the placement process offering 157 roles to 157 students across various domains of Sales & Marketing, Finance, General Management, Strategy, Consulting, Operations, and HR. The average stipend stood at ₹ 62,019 with ₹ 2,50,000 as the highest domestic stipend. Also, the average stipend saw a rise of 17% reinforcing IIM Trichy’s position as one of the premier business schools in the country. The average stipend of female candidates is 28% higher than their male counterparts.

Prof. Abhishek Totawar, Placement Chairperson, said, “Despite unstable macroeconomic conditions, IIM Trichy boasts successful completion of the summer placement process with a 17% increase in the average stipend which reflects the confidence industry has in us”.
Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Trichy, said, “Completion of summer placement for the Class of 2019 with such impressive figures is a testimony of academic rigour at IIM Trichy.”

Rutul
Rutul is a PGP student at IIM Trichy (Class of 2019). He has done his under graduation in Commerce with prime focus on accounting. A finance enthusiast, his areas of interests are : corporate finance and capital markets. A voracious reader, he also likes to write in his free time. Currently, he is a member of External Relations Committee and FinvesT, Finance and Investments Club at IIM-Trichy.
It's for the entire duration of summers, i.e. 2 months!
