It is 100 days till CAT 2024 and a constant reminder to level up your preparations. Those who have completed 1-2 months of preparation would have an idea of their stronger and weaker areas. Mocks, Sectional Tests, and Topic Tests should become important to your routine. For those still reluctant to start a routine, you have 100 days ahead to get a good percentile. Consistent efforts and target completion are required.
- 100 Days to CAT 2024: Break your 100 days into smaller batches.
Divide your goals into smaller timelines. For example, 20-30-30. The first 20 days to finish up with your remaining syllabus. The next 30 days should be focussed on mocks and revision. For those who have started recently, your aim should be to complete Arithmetic and Algebra in Quants, and DILR topics like matrices, charts, routes, and networks. An ideal number would be around 100 sets.
- 100 Days to CAT 2024: Setting Targets
Ideally at this stage, your daily targets should be met. However, most MBA candidates are either working or college students. Covering daily targets becomes a task workload increases. Try to set weekly targets if your daily goals don't help your routine. Instead of 20 ques of QA per day target 100 ques a week, a sectional test, and topic revision in a week.
- 100 Days to CAT 2024: Mocks
If you have covered a certain portion of your syllabus you should start with giving mocks or at least sectional tests. Do not give mocks with no plan or preparation. Have a strategy for how you are going to attempt the paper. Work on it while solving mocks. It is the perfect time to build upon speed and accuracy and find a balance between them.

- 100 Days to CAT 2024: Consistency and Motivation
The major difference between scoring average and good will be your consistency. It is about the number of hours you spend daily and the breaks you take. Preparing for the CAT exam or any entrance exam is a long game. Getting demotivated is easy and natural. If you feel overwhelmed take a break but do not disconnect totally. For example, read light articles or books, or revise your quants formulas and tips.

As the time passes by, doubts might crawl into your head. “Will I be able to crack the CAT exam?” It is normal but don’t let it bother you for long. Indulge in whatever works for you: books, movies, or a day out to distract yourself. Eat and exercise better to stay healthy.
