Committees at B-Schools are a great place to hone one’s skills and pursue the passion of the self. DMS, IIT Delhi provides multitudinous opportunities for the students to gain skills ready for the corporate world.

There is a varied range of committees at DMS which undertake different responsibilities that help increase the brand name of DMS. It is the 3rd article of the series “Introduction to Clubs and Committees at DMS", which gives a sneak peek into the life of DMS.

Placement Preparation Committee:

The members of batch ’22 started the Placement Preparation Committee’s initiative after observing the students’ readiness and, as marketing puts it, “identifying the innate need” of the students. Understanding that issues and difficulties faced by the batch need a permanent solution as similar challenges will be faced by the upcoming batches, the voluntary group took the shape of a formal committee.

The primary objective of PPC is to support students in their placement preparation and acquaint them with the various processes involved. To date, PPC has organised various activities like CV mentoring, mock GDs, and PIs for the first-year students’ SIP process. In the future, PPC plans to carry out the same activities and start many new initiatives which will further help the students in their placement preparation.

Sashakt:

 Alumni Relations Committee:

The Alumni Relations Committee (ARC) strives to continue the legacy of DMS IIT Delhi since its establishment in 1997.
