Challenges overcame in life to achieve goals
Life seems challenging only when it demands an effort beyond our comfort zone. There are quite a few challenges in my life which tested my mettle. It was during my sophomore year when my career demanded high level of seriousness, i have started applying for internship programs to get practical industry exposure and to build resume for the upcoming campus placements. A mediocre GPA has put me in a not so good position to be considered for an core internship. To add fuel to the fire, my father suffered with serious illness at the same time which impaired him from attending his job permanently. A sudden financial crisis prevailed in our family which started burning all of our life savings. After a long wait, i got an internship opportunity in a startup as a sales manager but it could only float my family for a short period of time. Later i got placed in a manufacturing company located at a far off place. Even after attaining some financial stability i had a tough time simultaneously managing my MBA preparation, addressing household issues, fathers health care, performance at workplace etc., It is the time when i had no choice but to endure and move ahead in life, which taught me important lessons for life. Later i got MBA admission from a prestigious institute. On a whole challenging situations in life helped only to become a better of myself and imbibed a habit of striving for continuous improvement.
