One of the easiest and yet scoring topics for the quantitative ability section of CAT is Algebra. Around 35 - 40% of the questions in the quant section come from this topic. If you're a serious aspirant, you must understand the importance of algebra and prepare accordingly to make sure you do well on CAT because this topic can give you easy marks if you practice it well. Apart from being an important topic, each sub-topic of algebra has equal weightage on CAT. That makes it all the more important for you to practice algebra thoroughly and make sure you ace it.
