Aman Anand  has a strong academic background and diverse experiences. Originating from Gaya, Bihar, he excelled in academics, secured impressive ranks in JEE, and pursued Electrical & Electronics at BITS Pilani. Aman's journey included leadership roles in NSS and the Matrix Club, alongside a shift to finance through electives and internships at an old IIM and an Investment Bank. His problem-solving approach, highlighted in a case at Philips, demonstrates a four-step method, earning him recognition for taking ownership and delivering fast. Aman, with a CAT percentile of 99.73, is poised to join IIM Bangalore and continues his pursuit of excellence with ongoing CFA studies. Aman's approach to handling failure or setbacks involves not isolating oneself and seeking support from friends and family. He emphasizes the importance of learning from losses, which leaves a lasting impact, making individuals more cautious and alert in future situations. In an ethical decision-making scenario at Philips, Aman faced challenges with proposed changes in parts for supplier transfers. Despite the complexities, he chose the most ethical path, opting for UL tests to ensure safety, even though it incurred additional costs and a delay. Aman's negotiation skills shine in a situation with tough suppliers during a project at Philips. Despite initial resistance, he addressed each point methodically, finding compromises and presenting solutions that resulted in substantial savings for the company. His candidacy for "India's Most Promising Incoming MBA Students 2023" is supported by his academic excellence, leadership roles, professional achievements at Philips, ethical decision-making, and negotiation skills. Aman expresses confidence in his ability to contribute significantly to the business world and believes his diverse skill set makes him a deserving candidate for the recognition.
