Currently, he is in his second year at IIM Calcutta, where he serves as an MBA Representative and is an active member of the student council. His passion lies in solving impactful problems that make a difference in the world. In addition to his academic pursuits, Ananth is deeply committed to social causes and serves as the Head of Strategy for Helplife, an NGO dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. Through his multifaceted roles and dedication to creating positive change, Ananth exemplifies a true leader with a vision for a better future. Ananth Adiga's impactful leadership during his MBA program at IIM Calcutta is evident in his initiative to secure CFA affiliation for the institution. Recognizing the lack of affiliation and scholarships through the CFA institute, Ananth took on the challenge, persevered through obstacles, and successfully gained membership with the CFA institute's University Affiliation Program (UAP). This achievement not only enhances the institution's reputation but also brings financial benefits, saving approximately $28,000. Ananth envisions future collaborations with the CFA institute, showcasing the positive impact of his endeavors. In terms of leadership development, Ananth served as the MBA Representative and actively participated in the student council. His role in representing the student body in MBA Committee meetings and leading various projects has contributed to shaping his leadership skills. Ananth emphasizes the importance of taking ownership and responsibility for tasks, a quality he considers instrumental in defining great leadership. He envisions applying these leadership skills in a professional setting by demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility, fostering dedication and commitment within the team, and motivating others to contribute their best efforts. Ananth plans to leverage his MBA skills and knowledge to contribute positively to his future career. As an amputee, he recognizes the importance of diversity and inclusivity and aims to be a catalyst for change. Ananth has a passion for consulting, and his experience at YCP Auctus, where he facilitated a significant impact, solidified his desire to work in the consulting field, particularly at Bain and Company. His approach to teamwork and collaboration, demonstrated in organizing the convocation for the 58th Batch, involved decentralizing tasks, promoting ownership, and fostering trust among team members. Ananth recognizes the value of decentralized approaches and the lessons learned from instances where adjustments were needed. Ananth believes he deserves recognition among the Most Employable MBA Graduates - Class of 2024 due to his achievements, including being honored as the Best Incoming Student, overcoming challenges as an amputee, excelling in leadership roles, securing a remarkable internship, and serving as the strategy head at Helplife NGO.
