Arinjoy is an ambitious person, who completed his engineering from VJTI, Mumbai, and is a JBIMS graduate from the class of 2024. He is a music lover and an active member of Toastmasters International and wishes to be an amazing orator.
Arinjoy Dutt's standout project during his MBA program involved a seminar paper focusing on the analysis of selling and distribution in the FMCG sector. Collaborating with experienced sales executives, he conducted a detailed competitive analysis of distribution channels in two FMCG giants. This hands-on research provided him with a comprehensive understanding of distribution processes, refining his analytical skills, fostering teamwork, and deepening his passion for the FMCG sector.
In terms of leadership development, Arinjoy actively participated in the Student Development Body of his college. His team took the initiative to enhance the preparation for summer internships by arranging guest lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions conducted by industry professionals. This collaborative effort fostered teamwork, camaraderie, and positively impacted his batchmates' confidence and preparedness for their internships.
Arinjoy plans to leverage his MBA skills, gained in finance, marketing, operations, supply chain, and organizational behavior, in his future career. His internship experience involved benchmarking the P&L performance of an FMCG business unit, showcasing the practical application of his academic knowledge in a real-world setting.
His preferred industry is FMCG, and he aspires to work for industry leaders like Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) and Procter & Gamble (P&G). Arinjoy believes his analytical skillset, business acumen, and passion for consumer goods make him an ideal fit for these companies. His internship experience at P&G, where he received a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO), further solidified his passion for the FMCG sector.
Arinjoy's approach to teamwork emphasizes active listening, mentorship, and adaptability. He shares an experience from a Toastmasters event, "Door to Extempore," where teamwork and collaboration were crucial for success. The acronym TEAM represents the valuable lessons he gained, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts.
He believes he deserves recognition as one of the Most Employable MBA Graduates - Class of 2024 due to his academic excellence, diverse experiences in consulting and FMCG, and his commitment to delivering impactful solutions to challenges.
