In our list of India's Best 50 - the 50 Most Employable Students from the Class of 2020-22, we feature MBA students who have walked that extra mile and done that little more to stand out! One of those featured in today's story, Charchil Jain, has shown an incredible amount of passion to achieve his true potential. Read on and find out his story! The following are Charchil Jain’s set of responses to a questionnaire floated amongst MBA graduates to determine the top-50 Most Employable MBA Graduates of the Class of 2022. Amongst the massive number of entries and responses being evaluated, Charchil's story and profile stood out. Here's his story in his own words. Name an instance where you wanted something and went out of your comfort zone to achieve it OR Tell us the biggest risk you have taken so far in your life. In my summer internship, I had not been there that long when I was offered an opportunity to lead a subproject with a few co-interns. This came entirely out of the blue. While I am very ambitious & enthusiastic, I decided to turn it down. The reason for me turning down the opportunity was based on the fact I genuinely wanted to learn my new role to a high standard, so I could then help the organisation and my team develop. Although I feel I could have performed well while leading the subproject, I did not want to risk my reputation and the performance of the company, especially as I had only been there for a relatively short period of time. This was obviously a risk on my part, as I am missing the offered opportunity. However, it proved to be the right decision as my manager respected my choice and I actually went on to be one of the best summer interns.
When was the last time someone relied on you? OR What did you do which was purely for someone else - a truly selfless act. A work colleague of mine was struggling to get her work completed. She had numerous projects on the go and because she specialised in a certain area, our team depended on her to take on multiple tasks. However, I could detect she was struggling and so I decided to speak to her to see if I could help. Because we all are working for the same team, I think it is required that we go above and beyond what is required to help the organization achieve its goals. I spoke to her during a break and I said I had some scope to take on extra work. I explained that I wanted to help her out with any task she could send my way as this would free her up to concentrate on her specific areas of specialism. She was relieved somebody had offered to help her and later that afternoon we sat down together and created a list of jobs I could take away from her. I ended up working late a couple of evenings to get the extra tasks completed but it felt good to help a work colleague out when she really needed the assistance
Tell us about a time when you disagreed with an opinion/idea/decision. What did you do about it? I was working in an office and our client emailed the team to complain about the errors that they had found in our recent deliverables. The deliverable requires key inputs from various team members. I took a look at the different inputs and I was shocked at the number of errors that were contained within it. I felt it was my responsibility to raise the issue with the team members responsible for it.So, we could explore ways in which it can be improved. It was my view that the current way of the quality check was letting the relations with clients down. I spoke to the manager and I was met with an immediate defensive attitude. I was basically told to mind my own business and disagreed with my suggestion. However, I persevered and outlined the benefits of the new approach.
If 10 Million Dollars (approximately INR 75 Crores) is given to you to use it any way you deem fit what would you do with this corpus?

The first thing I would do is pay off everything I owe money on, such as my house mortgage and car payment.
Second, I would figure out my foreseeable bills for the rest of my life, such as electricity, water and sewer, internet access, cable TV, etc., and put that amount into an interest-bearing savings account.
Third, I would probably buy a new house and car with cash, so I would be set for life with the house, be in good stead with a good automobile for the next decade. The house would be built to my own design.
Fourth, I would try to help out all my relatives
Fifth, I would give some money to my favourite charities. Sixth, I would start work on my own business idea.
