MICA has long and often been regarded as one of the top b-schools when it comes to the Marketing domain. It sets itself apart from the regular B-schools in multiple ways, starting right from its engaging admission process, to its curriculum and the well-rounded campus life to the placements. To start, today, we are just talking about the admissions process. MICAT is the online entrance examination to MICA’s flagship PGDM and PGDM(C). MICAT is conducted twice a year around the country in December & January, GE/PI shortlist is released after both these attempts in February and the subsequent GE/PI rounds are conducted in March.
MICAT consists of the following structure,
- Section A: Psychometric Test
- Section B: Descriptive Test
- Section C: (has 4 sub-sections)
- Divergent and Convergent Thinking
- Verbal Ability
- Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
- General Awareness
There’s no doubt that MICAT is one of the most well-rounded exams out there and it has a very different curriculum, which is why we bring you My Map To MICAT - A Definitive Guide By Tanya Shridhar.
