Deepak is an all-India Rank-holder CA with 6.5 years of experience across multiple domains such as Strategy, fundraising, FP&A, digitization, financial reporting & capital markets regulation. In his role at Shopkirana , Deepak was instrumental in building & scaling finance and strategy functions. He was also instrumental in the successful closure of Shopkirana's Series C fundraising of 38 mn $ at a valuation of 140 mn $ from marquee names such as Info-Edge, Sixth Sense Ventures, Oman India Joint Investment Fund, and Incubate Fund. Prior to Shopkirana , Deepak worked with Aavas Financiers Limited and SEBI. In SEBI he was also the winner of the Annual Brainstorming Event for his recommendations on "Improving Investor Education and Protection Measures". Deepak is very passionate about reading business books, investing in equities, and going on long drives.
