IIM Kozhikode reported closure of Final Placements last week. Although the salary figures are not audited by an external agency, we were very impressed by the amount of detail available for the salary numbers. Apart from the usual, IIM K has also reported salary figures for women and salary figures for offers made by PSUs. There are also salary figures for each sector for the last 3 years. Assuming the numbers are accurate it will surely help potential aspirants.
A massive 40% of the batch was placed in Sales & Marketing roles. General Management line-up is very impressive too. Banking and Finace has been a tough sector to get offers from across all campuses. Deloitte has a special liking for IIM Kozhikode and a double digit figure of hires justifies such a perception.
IIM Kozhikode has also specially thanked its alumni for being supportive and offering great roles in companies that they have started. Such a gesture towards alumni is always appreciated and something other schools can learn from.
