FMS Delhi, 2025 Interview Shortlists were released yesterday with a total of 2023 shortlists being made for 289 seats. For the general candidates, the composite score cut-off is 51.103 with a seat-to-call ratio of 1:7. The PI process of FMS Delhi includes an Extempore round and SoP Discussion. M: So Sabuj, you're a graduate of Ramjas College. What are you doing now?
Me: Explained my job and the company.
M: Your extempore topic would be the North Campus Culture (I'm from DU, North Campus).
Me: Spoke on diversity, freedom of thought and expression, holistic development culture, etc.
M: You didn’t talk about Tom Uncle Maggie Point or Sudama ki Chai, you must be a boring person.
Me: Sir, I tried explaining my perspective on the culture.
F: Asked a few basic Economics questions.
Me: Answered.
F: Meaning of Bootstrap.
Me: Explained.
M: What do you do to pass time?
Me: Sir, I write and I’m an avid football fan, so I follow football as well.
M: Have you published anything?
Me: Yes, sir. A book by the name Evergreen has been published, where I co-authored with other writers.
M: Original content?
Me: Yes, sir. Do you want me to recite?
M: No. You can do that once you join us in the classroom. (Both profs smiled.)
Me: I would love to, sir. (Wide smile.)
M: So, you said some of your customers are confused. If I want to make a 10-page website, what's the process?
Me: Sir, static or dynamic?
M: Static.
Me: Custom or template-based?
M: Custom.
Me: Sir, then I guess, based on the effort estimation, the costing would be around INR 25,000.
M: Why?
Me: Sir, more resources. A custom-made website requires UI/UX designers, HTML developers, backend developers, and QA testers.
M: Okay, great! That’s all, we’re done.
