When Ashish got into IMT Ghaziabad to pursue his management degree, he didn’t expect it to transform his life in a matter of years. Hailing from the so-called industrial capital of UP - Kanpur, Ashish decided to opt for higher studies post his engineering degree and two-year work experience at a thermal power station. Coping with the bustling MBA life at a B-School was intimidating at first for Ashish, but gradually he got a hang of it and started addressing one uphill battle at a time.
As the next big step in his career, he became part of the campus runner up team in Mahindra War Room; one of the most coveted B-school competitions in India. And what followed was a chance to be part of Mahindra’s Group Management Cadre (GMC) program.
For Ashish, there was no looking back after this.
He took up the challenge of growing Mahindra Susten (a leading Solar EPC services company in India) from its nascent stage to a substantial B2B start-up within the Mahindra group. From day one, he got an opportunity to work as an entrepreneur with Mahindra Susten, growing it as one of the most successful businesses of Mahindra.
In less than 5 years, Ashish became the Strategy & Business Development Country Head at Mahindra Susten, taking its revenue to over Rs. 500 cr. Know more about Ashish in this video and tell us what you think about the entrepreneurial spirit of Mahindra that it propagates amongst its employees.
