The journey to a prestigious b-schools can often be taxing, challenging, and time-taking. Many students take up a job when they do not get into the institute of their choice at their first shot.
Today, we present to you the interview experience of a candidate who took the road less travelled. Nikhil Kumar Upadhyaya took a gap year after his engineering to prepare for competitive examinations in order to get into a prestigious b-school. He ended up scoring a 99.06 percentile on the XAT and securing an admit despite a 64.1% during his engineering.
In this video re-enactment, we take you inside the XLRI Jamshedpur interview room and give you a glimpse of how Nikhil tackled the questions during his interview and built a strong case for himself.
