At a time when studying abroad seemed massively hit due to the travel restrictions and a global pandemic, the HKU Business School MBA decided to go ahead with its in-person classes for their MBA program. Students from different parts of the world kept the pandemic scare aside and roped themselves for the program. In this video, you will get to know from three international students Aline Herth, Thierry Hardy-Lachance, and David Deka about their journey to Hong Kong, what were the initial concerns, and how the overall program has been so far for them.

David Deka, an Indian student, has completed his BA in Economics from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi and had earlier worked in Hong Kong markets before joining HKU. He stresses his decision to join HKU Business School at a time when not only the world is reeling over the scare of a global pandemic but Hong Kong is also undergoing a sea change causing geopolitical tensions.
For German national Aline Herth and Canadian resident Thierry Hardy- Lachance also, the HKU experience was important to know the Asia Pacific region and the markets better and they discussed the learning that they are currently undergoing at the university.
