Nikita came to terms with the financial difficulty her family was going through, at a very early age, when paying her school fees were getting delayed frequently. Struggling to understand why it is happening, she went directly to her mother, only to know about the struggling business of her father and the crisis situation that her family was going through. It is then that she decided to take things in her hand. Let's meet Nikita Tayal from IIFT Delhi in today's video as part of the REAL STEEL series, sponsored by Tata Steel.
With a natural bent towards teaching, Nikita started teaching from a very early age. Which started just as a fun activity, became something she started taking very seriously. The number of students grew in no time, from one to 13. She started funding her own education, lessening the burden from her family. And, gradually, she started helping in the household expenses as well, becoming a supporting hand of the family. All this without her father even having a hint of the same!
Gradually, things started getting better in her family and Nikita decided to widen her horizon and get into one of the premier B-schools in the country. And with grit and determination, she cracked IIFT in her very first attempt.
Watch her story of never accepting defeat in the hands of fate, which is what an employer like Tata Steel looks for in their employees. Those who never give up!
Tell us in the comments section below what you think about her story and if you know someone who has written their own life stories amidst hardships.
