IIFT has completed the final placement process for its MBA-IB batch of 2023. This year, 108 recruiters across domains and industries participated in the process, including brands like Amazon, Accenture Strategy, Flipkart, Godrej, Goldman Sachs, ITC, JP Morgan Chase & Co, L’Oréal, Mahindra Group, Mckinsey, Microsoft amongst others. The highest international salary touched 85.40 lakhs, while the top domestic salary offered stood at 75.60 lakhs. Here are more details regarding IIFT placements 2023!

IIFT's 2023 placement season say the highest international salary at 85.40 lakhs, which is an
increase from last year's 80 lakhs. The highest domestic salary increased by an incredible 63% and stood at 75.60 lakhs. The average salary increased by 16%, while the median salary increased by just over 10%.
Sales and marketing makes up majority of offers | IIFT placements 2023
In 2023, the most number of offers made were for sales and marketing roles and made up 22% of all offers. This was followed by consulting (20%) and finance (18%). Historically, these three domains have been amongst the most sought-after for IIFT students. General management and strategy roles made up 13% of all offers, while product management roles made up 10% of all offers.

In 2023, leading trade and operations recruiters included Amazon, Cargill, ETG, Flipkart, GAIL, Louis Dreyfus Company, Maersk, Mjunction, OfBusiness, Tata Steel, Tolaram and Vikram Solar, who visited for a multitude of roles. ETG, SSOE and Tolaram extended international opportunities for IIFT's MBA batch of 2023.
Companies like Amazon, Boston Scientific, Capgemini, CarDekho, EXL, Games 24x7, Hexaware, IGT Solutions, Jio Platforms, Justdial, Lowes, Merilytics, Microsoft, Nucleus Software, Optum, Paytm, Wipro and many others hired for IT, analytics, and product management roles.
IIFT students were offered lucrative finance profiles including corporate treasury, investment banking, risk management, wealth management, equity research, etc.. Eminent recruiters in this domain included Affinity Global, Barclays, Citi Bank, Client Associates, CRISIL, DE Shaw, Edelweiss, Goldman Sachs, HDFC, HSBC, ICICI Bank, IndigoEdge, Indus Valley Partners, JP Morgan & Chase, Kotak, L'Oreal, Synergy Consulting, Tata AIA, Tesco, Tresvista, and Yes Bank amongst others.
Companies like Adani, Axis Bank, Fast Retailing, Flipkart, Haleon, JSW, Landmark Group, Mahindra Group, Shell, State Street, Trident Group and others offered highly sought-after general management and strategy roles. Many IIFT students were hired for coveted leadership roles such as Mahindra GMC and Aditya Birla YLP.
In 2023, notable sales and marketing associations included Amul, Bajaj Auto, Becton Dickinson, Cipla, Dabur, Emami, Games24x7, Godrej, ITC, Landmark Group, Nucleus Software, OfBusiness, Oxane Partners, Pidilite, RPG, Signify, Tata Steel, Titan among many others. New recruiters on campus included AMNS, Asian Paints, Cargill, Diageo, Grasim, Relaxo, Samsung, TVS Motor, United Breweries, Vedanta, Vedant Fashions, and many others.
This placement season also saw a significant number of offers rolled out in the coveted consulting domain. Major consulting firms included Accenture Strategy, Acuvon Consulting, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY, Mckinsey & Co, Incedo, Infosys Consulting, Praxis GA, Wipro.
