The batch average stood at INR 32.20 lakhs, while the median stood at INR 30.00 lakhs. 632 offers were extended for 556 students. Top recruiters on campus included Accenture, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, Amazon, HDFC Bank, PayTM, Jio, American Express, and EXL amongst many others. Highest salary at 1 crore, up by 72% year-on-year
In 2023, IIM Lucknow saw the highest domestic salary touch INR 1.00 crore, up from INR 58.00 lakhs last year. The highest international salary increased by 6% and stood at INR 65 lakhs.
The median and average salary figures saw marginal growth compared to last year, with a 4% and 3% increase, respectively. To compare,
IIM Calcutta has also seen a similar slow-down in salary growth this year.
SPJIMR's latest placement report also reflects a similar growth trend.
The average of the top-10% of salaries dipped marginally (4%) year-on-year, while the average for the top-50% increased by 6%.

IT and Product Management emerges as top-paying domain at IIM Lucknow
IT and Product Management was the highest-paying domain (on average) at IIM Lucknow in 2023, with the average salary for these profiles touching INR 34.30 lakhs. The highest salary offered was for a Sales and Marketing profile, followed by General Management and IT and Product Management.
Consulting makes up 37% of all offers accepted by IIM Lucknow's batch of 2023
In 2023, Consulting emerged as the most sought-after domain at IIM Lucknow, with 37% of the batch accepting offers for these roles. This was equivalent to the combined numbers for the next two most sought-after domains: IT and product management (19%), and finance (18%). Operations accounted for only 3% of all offers accepted.

Accenture emerges as the biggest recruiter, MBB firms extend 55 offers
Accenture made the most number of offers to IIM Lucknow's batch of 2023, extending 36 offers—two more than last year. McKinsey, BCG, and Bain offered a combined total of 55 offers, down from 67 offers last year.
Domain-wise recruiters at IIM Lucknow in 2023
Companies in the IT, Ecommerce, and Tech sectors extended offers for IT/Systems, category management, product management, business development, supply chain management, product marketing, strategic alliances, program management, and analytics profiles.
Companies in the FMCG, Telecom, Digital Media, and Aviation sectors offered sales and marketing, supply chain management, IT, corporate finance, and analytics roles, with some of these roles extended exclusively to IIM Lucknow students.
Companies in the BFSI sector extended offers for private equity, front-end investment banking, equity research, global markets, corporate banking, capital markets, private banking, credit risk, and consumer banking roles.
Accenture, McKinsey, BCG, Bain, EY, Deloitte, KPMG and PwC were amongst the many consulting firms that hired from IIM Lucknow in 2023.
