In 2023, the highest salary at IIM Nagpur touched INR 64 lakhs, a 2x increase over last year's INR 31.54 lakhs. The average salary increased by 10%, while the median salary increased by 9%. To compare, IIM Jammu saw a 19% and 20% increase in the average and median salaries, respectively.
The average of the top-half of all salaries offered increased by 10%, standing at INR 18.91 lakhs.
Strategy and consulting, IT and analytics, operations top domains at IIM Nagpur
Strategy and consulting, IT and analytics, and operations were the most sought-after domains at IIM Nagpur in 2023, with 50% of the batch opting for these roles. Even so, this was a dip from last year, when nearly 60% of the batch took up these profiles. The preference for operations roles shot up significantly.

ITES, BFSI, consulting emerge as biggest recruiters at IIM Nagpur
In 2023, offers from ITES, BFSI and consulting sectors made up a combined total of 78% of the total offers accepted at IIM Nagpur. Preference for the BFSI sector shot up massively, while that for consulting saw an equivalent fall. Manufacturing was another sector that saw increased preference amongst IIM Nagpur students.
