All throughout my engineering at VJTI, I had always dreamt of attending MBA at an IIM. In May 2018, I had calls from all "new IIMs" (as they are fondly called) and other B schools; I decided to join IIM Raipur. There were only two reasons initially to join IIM Raipur - The first being placements. In terms of campus placements, IIM Raipur has gradually grown and is at par with other new IIMs, with many reputed names visiting campus for summer internships and final placements. Another reason was the Best Student Exchange Program amongst its peers. IIM Raipur is in partnership with 18 Premier business schools across the world for its student exchange program and has sent more than 50 outgoing students in an academic year.
If an MBA means learning to execute with limited resources, IIM Raipur students stand as a true example for this. When we run out of resources, the students help each other to move ahead. One such example - On the day of registration, everyone panicked about how to reach campus on time but to our rescue, our senior and college management had arranged transport facility from airport and railway station to campus. Some of them were freshers and new to living in a hostel away from parents, but our IIM Raipur family made us feel home and absorbed each of us. There were informal induction sessions organized by our seniors, where we were introduced to the life and culture of IIM Raipur. Loaded with impossible tasks and challenging deadlines we were being accustomed to MBA life motto “JIT-Just in Time”. Managing assignments Just in Time.
At IIM Raipur you get to do things your way with limited resources. Almost all the activities of clubs and committees are student driven. All clubs & committees' events are organized and driven by students helps by giving you the platform to grow yourself and execute your ideas.

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL). Band Management has always fascinated me. ABFRL is being the Numero Uno in fashion retail. It has a bouquet of brands ranging Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England, People, Pantaloons, Hackett London, Forever 21, Simon Carter, Ted Baker, The Collective, Planet Fashion for all price and customer segments. Previously being associated with Product business which was dealer based channel, would like to learn in omnichannel business consisting of brick & mortar store as well as e-commerce channel.
