An MBA School takes one through a journey that is like a rollercoaster ride. The calmness that these mountains give to a student after a stressful exam week or the happiness and awe-inspiring emotions that the sunset brings to the face of the students cannot be matched to other emotions. The everyday weather of the city keeps your spirits up and allows you to be creative and go out and try something new. An IIM in Shillong allows growth to be fostered by a spirit of community in students, which they inherit from the city itself. The location allows one to be grounded, be close to nature, and nurture themselves in ways that are organic and give out dividends in the long term. The grilling corporate atmosphere at the college, which teaches students to be great future leaders, is balanced very beautifully by the calmness and serenity of nature which engulfs the IIM Shillong Campus. The eminent Speakers that come here have a great time escaping the city and interacting with students at a landscape location. Sure, the location comes with some of its disadvantages, whether it be less connectivity to urban cities or a little less of the available amenities, but it fosters overall learning for its students in a way unique to the institution and is a great catalyst for that growth is the city and its landscape which cannot be copied or produced anywhere else, and that is the great advantage of IIM Shillong and its “Campus In Clouds”.
