When you read a placement report of a reputed management institute, often, the report will list out the number of students opting out of the placements process. This is an odd occurrence given that placements are the primary reason why so many individuals want to do an MBA in the first place. So the question arises: why are these students opting out of the placements process? Are they opting out or are they being forced to opt out for reasons unmentioned in the placement report?
