IIM Udaipur's 2023 placements report is now out! This year, IIM Udaipur has witnessed a 14% percent jump in the average salary and a 19 percent jump in the median salary offered. Sales and marketing was the most sought-after function, followed by consulting and strategy, and finance. Top brands on campus included the likes of the Mahindra Group, Accenture Strategy, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Amazon, Asian Paints, Pidilite, EY, PwC, Kearney, and others. Median salary jumps by 19%, average salary up by 14% at IIM Udaipur in 2023
In 2023, IIM Udaipur recorded the highest salary at INR 35.04 lakhs for its MBA batch, slightly down from last year's INR 35.47 lakhs. The average and median salaries saw an increase of 14% and 19% respectively, which is comparable to the double-digit increase in salaries seen at other second-generation IIMs like Kashipur, Raipur, Trichy, and Rohtak in 2023.

40% of the batch receives pre-placement offers (PPOs)
- In 2023, 40% of IIM Udaipur's MBA batch bagged pre-placement offers (PPOs) via live projects, summer internships, and case competitions.
- Function-wise, sales and marketing came out on top as the most sought-after profile for IIM Udaipur's batch of 2023. This is an increase from last year's 17%. Consulting and strategy came in at second, followed by finance. Compared to last year, preference for general management roles saw a dip, as did that for analytics. Product management has seen a significant surge across not just IIM Udaipur but other leading business schools in 2023.
- Sector-wise, BFSI was the most preferred sector for IIM Udaipur students, with a massive 41% of the batch opting for roles in this sector; compare this with last year, when 29% of the batch accepted offers from BFSI companies. Preference for the consulting sector remained largely the same as last year (in terms of percentages), while that for the IT and Ecommerce sectors dipped. The FMCG/FMCD sector saw an uptick in preference compared to 2022.
