The day I stepped my feet at IIM Trichy, all of my dreams have come true to get into a prestigious institution, an Indian Institute of Management. The aroma that an IIM could give is incomparable and inexplicable. The state of art campus of IIM Trichy is just an incentive on top of that.
The unique ability that distinguishes it from other institutes is the cultural diversity that it possesses in its batch. The amenities it provides apart from the academic rigour is the extra-curricular opportunities that it provides. We have some of the best fests and sports events that are organised in the country.
One of the best things that have happened here to me is the friends that I have made during this short tenure. I would like to describe some of my best buddies without whom this journey could not be fun anymore. Here are they-
- Jadeja Yogendra – I would like to start with the most notorious guy of our group. He is one of the first friends that I have made here. What makes him special is the ever smiling face and staying happy in the toughest of the times. The characteristics that make our bond even more special is we could laugh at when other people are still messed up with their works. The stories that yogi have is one of the best you can ever listen.
- Dev Arun Dutta - He is the physicist and most sincere guy of our group. The jolliest person in our group always carries to help others at any time. I could thank him to wake me up so that I could miss my classes.
- Maruti Bhandari – Our own Chartered Account. The day I met him had made a deal to help me understand all finance concepts. I always had the stereotype that commerce guys could never be street smart as engineers. But he made realise we can have exceptions. We always advise him to try a luck in modelling.
- Vatsal Doshi – He is our foreign return graduate. I always wonder why is he here when he has a great business at home. However, its great in a sense as I could find a great friend of mine in him. We have a great bond as luckily we always find ourselves in the same group where we go.
The journey here gave me innumerable occasions of joy and happiness that will remain in my memory forever. The journey which has just started still awaits us with a lot of unforgettable moments.
ABG Company I want to work for
The ABG company that I would like to work for is Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank Limited. The reason for choosing this company is the domain in which it works. With the increase in digitization there is a huge potential in the market that can be penetrated by this company. Being an engineer from Computer Science background could help me to get a better understanding and work more efficiently for this company.
