Sankalp is the brainchild of MICA’s theatre society. Every year since its inception in 1999, MICA’s theatre society has been one of the best forms of self-expression and creativity. Every year, the committee comes together to create a play, promote it, market it and sell it for Sankalp.Everything from getting sponsors to designing costumes is managed by students. Students plan every last detail and carry out this project as a part of their theatre committee task. But, the question is - what do marketing management students learn through theatre?The answer lies in the methodology of execution. Since Sankalp is a purely student run initiative, MICAns not only get to learn the ins and outs of setting up a production.
