Meet Dr. Shabbir Husain R.V.: Professor At SPJIMR Mumbai & InsideIIM's Professor of The Year In 2021
Professor Hussain holds a doctorate (FPM) from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a management degree (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
He has over 16 years of work experience in organizations including Boston Consulting Group, Tata AIA Life, TCS, and top academic institutions including IIM Udaipur and IIM Raipur.
Prof. Hussain is currently an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Head - PGPM at SPJIMR. He teaches subjects like Marketing and Strategy and is known to bring knowledge, a clear perspective, and real-life insights to the classroom.
His research interests are in the areas of sustainable marketing and online buying behavior. He has published many papers, some of the notable ones are - Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing, The Marketing Review, and The Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries.
