Prof. D.V. Ramana is XIMB’s InsideIIM Professor Of The Year 2021. He completed his Masters (Commerce), M.Phil (Commerce), and Ph.D. in Commerce from Utkal University. He joined Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) as a full-time faculty and teaches Accounting to students. Prof. Ramana joined XIMB teaching as a full-time faculty teaching accounting. His teaching interests lie in the areas of Financial Accounting, Strategic Management Accounting, and Regulatory Accounting and Finance. Later, he later took a deputation from XIMB for a period of 5 years and joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) ltd. as a Senior Consultant.
He has also been associated with various regulatory boards and State Advisory Committee, Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC), Task Force for Evaluating the Performance of State Level Public Enterprises, and was in the Board of Directors of IFCAL.
