In this last part, Johann Matthai, Manager of Customer Strategy at Monitor Deloitte, talks of his experience working with Deloitte, in Amsterdam. He talks of his journey that got him into consulting, and of his role as a Customer Strategy Manager. He says that Consulting and Advertising are slowly converging, and how that reflects on the kind of work companies do. He even gives insights about how it is like consulting for a slew of brands, and how different it is from managing a single brand.
Later, he talks about his experience working in a European city like Amsterdam, where the life and work culture is starkly different than that in India. He delves deeper into how european work culture is, and how he intends to move closer to home as the years go by. In the end, he talks about some harsh realities of MBA, namely the fact that MBA doesn't guarantee success, and how being a good communicator isn't enough to make it big.
