 The countdown has begun for the interviews at India’s top B- schools with the first calls expected to be scheduled as early as the 1st week of February. We already told you that the interview duration has come down by up to 20%  but the weightage has gone up! So rather than be plagued by nervous excitement, here’s what you can do in the next few days to make your journey to a top B- School stress-free and smooth. Shortlisting  Overview

While no one can give you 100% assurance on whether or not you will be shortlisted for your dream institute, here are some indicators to help you get some understanding. -> For general category engineering grads, to get calls from BLACKI and every other college, irrespective of gender, you will need: ->For OBC / EWS: A percentile ranging from 90- 96%ile is likely to get you calls from ALL the IIMs for men, For women, the percentile is 85%ile. ->For SC: The cut-off is 85% for all the IIMs -> For ST: A percentile of  80 will get you calls from BLACKI while only  75 is required for getting shortlisted for the new/ baby IIMs -> General category aspirants looking to get into IITs, here are the percentile you will need to steer ahead of:

Irrespective of which institute you get shortlisted for, know that this year, the weightage for the personal interview round expected to be much higher than ever before.
