He has not only participated in but also emerged as a National Finalist and Winner in prestigious events like Dabur Verve, Johnson & Johnson Imagivators22, PwC Whitepaper 2.0, and ITC: Call for Arms, to name a few. His ability to analyze and present innovative solutions showcases his sharp intellect and critical thinking skills. What makes Sarthak truly exceptional is his philosophy of always seeking the "why" before taking any action or creating a plan. He believes that understanding the underlying purpose is sacrosanct, and only then can one wholeheartedly work towards achieving success. Outside the typical realm of a management student, Sarthak indulges in exploring the impact of Geopolitical events in the Eurozone and South Asia and how they affect India. Additionally, his love for literature leads him to find solace in reading poetry, allowing him to delve into the beauty of words and emotions.
Sarthak Mishra took on a transformative role in revamping the "Infinite Pounces" student interest group during his MBA program, elevating it to a vibrant hub of intellectual curiosity and healthy competition on campus. His strategic thinking focused on pillars like question quality, event diversity, promotion activities, and rewards. Under his leadership, the group successfully conducted engaging quiz competitions, garnered a devoted following on social media, and achieved recognition during the annual fest. The initiative is on track to transform into an official club, reflecting the positive impact of Sarthak's leadership.
In terms of leadership development, Sarthak actively participated in case discussions, adopting dual perspectives to generate comprehensive solutions. He took ownership of responsibilities, whether leading the Infinite Pounces SIG or collaborating on term projects, fostering a culture of excellence and motivation. Seeking out challenges, he embraced additional responsibilities in areas like video creation and editing for the SHOR Special Interest Group, showcasing a willingness to learn and adapt.
Sarthak plans to leverage his hard and soft skills gained during his MBA, including financial management, marketing strategies, strategic thinking, and leadership, in his future career. His preferred industries include Alco-Bev, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Institutions, and Startups. He believes his background and commitment to continuous learning make him well-suited for roles in Sales and Marketing, Corporate Treasury, Investment Banking, Credit Research, and Debt Restructuring.
His teamwork approach involves open communication, diverse perspectives, shared ownership, empathy, adaptability, and mutual support. During a case competition, his team's decision to focus on a single competition, shared responsibility, and continuous discussion led them to secure the position of National Finalists. This collaborative effort showcased Sarthak's ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, and adapt to unforeseen challenges.
