SCMHRD emerged as the youngest B-school to find a place in top 20 B-schools in India by securing 19th rank in the coveted B-school survey conducted by Business today (BT) in association with Marketing & Development Research Associates (MDRA). Over 2500 colleges participated in the survey. SCMHRD has also been ranked 8th among the best private B-schools in the country.
This year, MDRA evaluated B-Schools based on current year’s data on the basis of 127 attributes. The final ranks were assigned based on objective data after cross-validation through multiple sources such as institutes’ past data, colleges’ websites, government data, international accreditation bodies, etc.
Five parameters i.e., admission process, governance & establishment, learning and living experiences, future orientation and placement performance were given a weightage ranging from 150 to 250 points during the evaluation to obtain an objective score. Moving 5 places ahead from last year’s ranking, with a cumulative score of 747.3/1000, SCMHRD once again proved that it provides a holistic learning experience to the future business leaders.
SCMHRD’s placement process has obtained a cumulative score of 190.6/250 bagging 18th place. SCMHRD has become one of the credible names in the industry for delivering quality and performance at workplace. This is evident from SCMHRD’s accomplishment of placing its students in the most desirable companies every year.
SCMHRD is the first among the institutes under SIU to get AACSB accreditation. AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and learning and development services to over 1,700 member organizations and more than 840 accredited business schools worldwide. Learning experience at SCMHRD is one of its kind. The unique learning approach combined with an emphasis on holistic development prepares the students for a challenging corporate career ahead. This helped SCMHRD obtain a score of 177.1/250 in learning experience and a 144.8/200 in future orientation.
