SCMHRD has successfully completed its Summer Internship Recruitment Programme for 2021. There were more than 70 recruiters who came on campus to offer roles for the MBA Core batch. Some prominent recruiters were Flipkart, ITC, Accenture, Godrej, Tata Consumer Products, Hindustan Unilever, etc. This year, the average stipend of the MBA Core batch stood at 1.9 L. The highest stipend offered to any student was 3.20 L. The top 10% of the batch was offered an average stipend of 3.02 L. The top 25% of the batch received an average stipend of 2.52 L. Some of the prominent sectors in which the students bagged offers were FMCG, IT/ITES, Healthcare/Pharmaceutical, E-commerce & Logistics, and BFSI. To name a few of the recruiters from the FMCG sector, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Tata Consumer Products, Britannia, and Godrej were few of the companies. In the Consulting sector, EY and Gartner were two of the recruiters among others. In the BFSI sector, JP Morgan Chase & Co, HSBC, Yes Bank, and ICICI Bank were some of the big brands that visited. Microsoft, Accenture, Byju’s, VI, _VOIS, and Wipro were a few companies in the IT/ITES sector. This year, the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector companies on campus were GSK pharma, Optum, Novartis, and Piramal Group. In the E-commerce industry, Flipkart was one of the notable companies that recruited students.
Since its inception, SCMHRD has believed in the importance that diversity adds to its batch. Upholding the same spirit this year, the MBA Core batch profile consisted of 30% female students and 70% male students. The batch was also varied in the work experience they brought in. The batch had nearly 43% of freshers, and among the experienced candidates, their months of experience range to 36+ months.
To throw some light on the niche courses offered by the institution, Microsoft, Cisco, Welspun, and Casio were a few of the recruiters for the Business Analytics course. This year, the highest stipend offered was a whopping 3.5 L and the average stipend for the BA course rose to 1.09 L. In the Infrastructure Development and Management course, a bevy of prominent recruiters visited the campus like IBM, Capgemini, Ultratech, Ferrero, etc and the average stipend of the batch stood at INR 89,000.
As a testimony to the growth of SCMHRD in the corporate world, a host of new recruiters like GSK Pharma, GSK Consumer Healthcare, Games 24*7, TATA Cliq, etc visited the campus. The institute maintained a good rapport with its legacy recruiters like ITC, Godrej, Nivea, Wipro, and HSBC, who offered internship opportunities to the students this year too.
Year after year, SCMHRD never ceases to put forth its best foot forward and continues to rise higher up in the ranks. The quality recruiters and excellent opportunities provided to the students at SCMHRD speak for themselves. With this year’s summer placements setting a new benchmark, the hopes for the youngest elite B-school are stronger than ever.
