Hi, Tell us about how you got selected for this internship? Take us through the moment you realized you had got the internship.
In December 2020, I participated in the CMT Association Internship Challenge. I saw interning at CMT Association as a greater opportunity as it was their first Internship Challenge, I would be one among their First batch of interns, getting recognition like this from a Global Organisation is a very nice thing and I always preferred to be in the initial stage of any activity so I got more interested as I can contribute more and my contribution would be recognized a lot and I would get an important place in the evolution of CMT. My objective in participating in that competition was to learn more about Technical Analysis as it is new for me and the structure of the competition also gave more importance to Technical Analysis. They mentioned that Top 5 performers would be given an opportunity to intern with CMT Association.
The competition has two rounds, I really enjoyed doing both rounds and learnt a lot. After submitting my responses for the second round, I got an inner feeling that I will secure the internship opportunity as I'm very much satisfied with my work. But to confirm that I have to wait till January 5, 2021( still I remember the exact date), as they would announce the result on that date. The day arrived, I was a little nervous to see the result, but the new year started with the happy news that I came among the Top 5 performers and secured the internship.
On joining the company as an intern, how has your onboarding experience been like?
I got a good and warming onboarding experience. I got a chance to give a brief introduction of myself about my academics, skills, and capabilities. I had been exposed to the history, evolution, and work culture of the organization. I get to know the people with whom I'm going to work and got clear instructions about what are my roles and responsibilities and about how to approach people and the workflow of the organization. I got added to all of their forums in different platforms. And their attitude towards an intern in tutoring about the platforms, works, and projects and in introducing me to the people in the organization is amazing

- Your overall submission will be evaluated on the following parameters:
-Completeness: This depends on the number of Digital Diaries you have filled.
-Value Addition: This depends on how in-depth your answers have been. The score for this parameter will be given by our Judges.
-Reach: This depends on how many unique people have read your internship experience once we publish the article. We maintain fair play, we will publish all the articles on the same day, so that you can also share the same in your network.
- There is also a title called, ‘Campus With The Most Interesting Interns’ that will be awarded to (a) the campus that submits the maximum number of entries and (b) the campus that submits the best quality entries (based on the score given by our judges). The minimum entries from campus to be considered for this title is 10. So, if you want your campus to win the title then make sure your classmates and other students from your b school share their experiences in this year's Summer Saga Competition.

Every year, we have Campus Managers from some of the top companies (such as Reliance, HSBC, Flipkart, ABG, HUL, TAS, etc) judging the annual Summer Saga competition. We will release the details of the judges of Summer Saga Season 8 soon!
